michael buble isnt that big of a douche...
always thought he came off as kind of a douche bag. but after watching this, i've changed my mind SLIGHTLY about him, cause this was pretty cool.
also, it's cool that that kid's mom has so much bravado, but i'm sure at some points in his life, she has done irreparable psychological damage by embarrassing him.

yessssss!!!
if you love "how i met your mother", jason segal, neil patrick harris, or les mis, then this is the video for you!
you are home
one of my favorite songs, one of my favorite movies, one of my favorite lines in a movie.
at 2:10 is where the line is, but just watch the whole scene. awesome. the whole hand-firework-thing, then the line, and she leans her head on his shoulder. ugh, made me fall in love with penny lane.

sometimes i miss "the man show"
girls on trampolines, juggy dance squad, and bill "the fox" foster (watching that man drink beer was like watching the sunrise), and of course the skits (END THE SUFFRAGE-ING OF WOMEN!) but this takes the cake:
this is some pretty hilarious shit
the premise doesn't seem that funny, two guy go to a target and try to have employees help them find things on their list. one item per page, and the list was written by the other guy, and the asker does not know what's on the list till he flips the page.
sounds boring, but just watch and see.

if you don't love this scene, you hate movies and comedy
trivia:
Funny thing about this scene is that when Dennis Greene, who played Reggie, showed up for shooting, he was told by Martin Lawrence's bouncer that he mustn't look into Lawrence's eyes or talk to him, and Lawrence himself was subsequently nasty to him. It was all a ploy arranged by Michael Bay who wanted the boy to be genuinely scared of Lawrence. Greene also wasn't told about the gun that he would be threatened with.

Atlanta Beerfest!!!
me and some lovely ladies, Action Jackson and Lady M,
went to the Atlanta Beer Festival. Thanks to Action Jackson giving us the headsup about the volunteering opprotunity. Cause after you volunteer, you get to go drink to your heart's desire. So we all got grouped up into the "ring toss" game, which looked like this, but all the bottles were sweetwater:
and since we were outside, the wind looked like this:
and our hands felt like this:
but it was a fantastic time, except the one woman who decided to HURL the rings at the bottles, and since i was behind the table collecting all the rings, she was basically pelting me with these things. she was probably a racist.
also, they had these warmers set up all around the festival, which really brought out the homeless folks. granted, they were white yuppy homeless folks.
i got people's attention by screaming. "hey homeless people, look over here!", the girl on the bottom right of the photo did not appreciate my humor.
all-in-all, great fucking time. i'm definitely doing this again next year.

preaching to the choir
a republican speaking about gay marriage.
i don't think anyone who visits this blog is against gay marriage, cause you're all smart people. i honestly think only ignorant, narrow minded people think that gay marriage is wrong. they spew the hate and inexperience that others have told them. "we fear what we don't understand" is the underlying message of the other side. but it's nice to see that change is possible.

and here we go!!!
my favorite theme song of all time, and quite possibly my favorite song of all time. the message, the music, the harmonies, what's not to like? and why don't they make theme songs like this anymore. it hurts my heart that kids today aren't growing up with awesome 80's theme songs permanently burned into their memory banks.
anyway, today is a new day! a new start! a new blog! hope you enjoy your time here. (and fittingly, that is the growing pains season 2 theme song and officially the theme song to my blog and my life)
